Placing Children and Families at the Heart of Healing and Hope
At Kinslee Strong, our mission is to support children battling life-threatening medical conditions while championing the advancement of pediatric research—especially in the area of congenital heart defects (CHDs). Founded in honor of eight-year-old Kinslee Curtis and her courageous fight, we are driven by a vision where every child facing a critical diagnosis has the opportunity to live a longer, healthier, and fuller life.
With the support of compassionate donors, volunteers, and medical professionals, we are working to make that vision a reality. Our goal is to fund promising pediatric cardiac research, support families in crisis, and raise awareness about the lifelong journey many of these children face.
Through continued research and innovation, the medical community has already made incredible strides—survival rates have improved, lifespans are increasing, and the quality of life for children with CHDs is dramatically better than it was just a generation ago. At Kinslee Strong, we are proud to stand alongside those leading this progress by funding efforts that not only treat congenital heart defects but also support the developmental and lifelong care that growing children need.
Every step forward is a step of hope—and together, we are truly making a difference.
Pathways to Hope
Advancing Research Through Strategic Partnerships
At Kinslee Strong, one of our core commitments is to advance life-saving research that improves outcomes for children with congenital heart defects and other life-threatening conditions. Through our initiative, Pathways to Hope, we are actively working to build strategic partnerships with leading organizations and research programs to support groundbreaking discoveries and innovations in pediatric cardiac care.
We are in the process of collaborating with the following respected institutions and initiatives:
-
Supporting promising, investigator-led studies that align with our mission to improve survival rates, extend lifespans, and enhance quality of life for pediatric patients.
-
Partnering with the American Heart Association and the Children’s Heart Foundation to co-fund high-impact CHD research through one of the nation’s most established grant programs.
-
Working with the American Academy of Pediatrics to support early-career physicians in pursuing advanced research that pushes the boundaries of pediatric cardiology.
-
Exploring collaboration opportunities with CNU to help advance large-scale data-sharing and clinical research efforts that improve care standards across children’s hospitals nationwide.
These partnerships reflect our belief that real change happens when communities, families, and experts come together with a shared vision: a future where every child has the chance to grow up healthy and strong. Through Pathways to Hope, Kinslee Strong is not just supporting research—we're helping build a future filled with healing, progress, and possibility.
