About Kinslee Strong Non Profit

Kinslee Strong is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families facing life-threatening medical conditions, while also advancing the medical research and treatment needed to improve outcomes. Inspired by the journey of Kinslee Curtis, a brave young girl who underwent open-heart surgery at just eight years old, the organization was founded on compassion, resilience, and a commitment to turning community support into meaningful impact. We are currently working on getting our 501c3 classification from the IRS

Family Support During Medical Crisis

We provide emotional, spiritual, and financial support to families navigating major medical challenges. This includes helping cover the costs of hospital stays, travel, lodging, meals, rehabilitation, and other unexpected expenses that come with critical care. We understand that these moments are overwhelming, and our goal is to relieve as much of the burden as possible so families can focus on what matters most—healing. Funding Medical Research & Innovation

Kinslee Strong is committed to helping the medical community improve survival rates, extend lifespans, and enhance the quality of life for children with life-threatening conditions. We support pediatric researchers, hospitals, and specialists by funding projects and innovations that lead to better, safer, and more effective treatments—especially for congenital heart conditions and other serious illnesses.

Building A Community of Hope

Beyond financial aid, we work to create a network of encouragement and awareness by sharing stories of strength, hosting events, and rallying communities together. We believe in the power of connection—when families know they’re not alone, they gain the courage to fight forward.

Through compassion, advocacy, and action, Kinslee Strong exists to stand in the gap for families in crisis and to be a part of the greater effort to transform pediatric healthcare outcomes for the better.

Kinslee Strong Story

Kinslee Strong was officially founded on March 26, 2025, following the powerful wave of support that surrounded eight-year-old Kinslee Curtis and her family during a life-altering medical crisis. Diagnosed with a serious congenital heart condition—Coarctation of the Aorta—Kinslee’s battle captured the hearts of thousands as she bravely underwent open-heart surgery. What began as a heartfelt fundraiser to help cover medical costs quickly evolved into something much larger: a mission to turn pain into purpose, and community strength into lasting impact.

Seeing firsthand how critical early intervention, emotional support, and access to quality care are to a child's outcome, the Curtis family was inspired to create a nonprofit organization that could extend that same support to other families facing medical crises. Unfortunately, Kinslee did not have the benefit of early intervention, as no one caught the issue during any of her appointments. This gap in care deeply influenced the family's mission. Kinslee Strong is more than just a support network—it is a growing force for change. The organization is dedicated not only to helping children and families through some of the most challenging times in their lives but also to collaborating with medical professionals and researchers. One of its core missions is to fund advancements in pediatric care, with the aim of increasing survival rates, extending lifespans, and enhancing the quality of life for children battling life-threatening illnesses and conditions.

With every prayer, donation, and shared story, the Kinslee Strong community helped build the foundation of a legacy—one that will continue to uplift families, empower medical teams, and advocate for brighter futures for children in need. What started as a community’s response to one little girl’s courageous fight has grown into a powerful nonprofit with a heart to heal, a mission to serve, and a vision for lasting hope.
